For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) and any related data
protection legislation in Ireland, we are the data controller. This Privacy Notice sets out the basis on
which we will process any personal data we collect from you.
Please read this Privacy Notice carefully so that you understand your rights in relation to your personal
data, and how we will collect, use and process your personal data.
We will take great care of the information provided and we will take steps to keep it secure.
The personal information we may collect about you includes but is not limited to the following:
• Personal details such as your name, gender, age, date of birth, signature, email address, postal
address, telephone or mobile number
• Family details such as details about current marriage and partnerships, details of family
members
• Medical history
To use your personal information lawfully, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
• performance of a contract i.e. processing your personal information is necessary for us to
provide you with our services
• your consent

Who we share your personal data with?

For the purposes of providing our products to you we may provide relevant personal information to:
• your authorised representatives
• regulatory bodies such as the Social Welfare Office, An Garda Siochana
We may also disclose personal information if required to do so by law and believe that such action is
necessary to conform with the law. If we provide your personal information to the above-mentioned
third parties, we will take all reasonable precautions regarding the practices utilised by them in
protecting your personal information.
Those third parties will be required to:
• keep your information safe and secure; and
• handle your information on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions

Where do we store your personal data?

The information that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at/processed in the EEA.
We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal data is treated securely and
in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

How long will we keep your personal data?

We do not hold your personal information for longer than is necessary. We hold your personal
information while you are our client and for a period after that relationship ceases, as permitted by
law e.g. 6 years under the Statute of Limitations Act 1957.

Your rights

You have certain rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you, which we detail
below. Some of these only apply in certain circumstances as set out below. Please note that we will
require you to verify your identity before we respond to any of your requests. We must respond to a
request by you to exercise those rights without undue delay and at least within one month (although
this may be extended by a further two months in certain circumstances).
• Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about
you.
• Right of rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is
inaccurate or incomplete.
• Right to be forgotten – in certain circumstances you can ask for the data we hold about you
to be erased from our records.
• Right to restriction of processing – where certain conditions apply to have a right to restrict
the processing.
• Right of portability – you have the right to have the data we hold about you transferred to
another organisation
• Right to object – you have the right to object to certain types of processing such as direct
marketing where applicable.

Technical information (including cookies) that we collect about you.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also
the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your e-mail address (also called a hash) may be provided to the
Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here:
https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the
public in the context of your comment.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, e-mail address and website
in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when
you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
While you visit our site, we will track:
• Products you have viewed: we will use this to, for example, show you products you have
recently viewed
• Location, IP address and browser type
• Home address
We will also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you are browsing our site.
When you book an appointment with us, we will ask you to provide information including your name,
address, email address, phone number, payment details.
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed
to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase
total and billing information.

Complaints

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal data, please
contact us in the first instance at absoluteharmony2019@gmail.com and we will endeavour to deal
with your request as soon as possible. This does not interfere with your right to raise a complaint to
the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, details of which can be found at
www.dataprotection.ie or by contacting their office on 1890 252 231.
Changes to our Privacy Notice
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. You will be able to see when we last updated
the notice because we will include a revision date. Updates are effective from the date on which they
are notified to clients or posted on our website (www.absoluteharmony.ie).
